This week on DIALOGUE, host Joan Cartan-Hansen brings together educators and administrators from around Idaho to discuss the impact of school budget cuts. Cartan-Hansen and her guests will look at how the cuts are being handled at the district level, what programs are being eliminated, how teachers’ salaries are affected, and the long-term ramifications of these cuts on Idaho’s education system.
Guests include Geoffrey Thomas, Madison School District superintendent; Linda Clark, Meridian School District superintendent; Mark Moorer, a member of the Potlatch School Board; and Sherri Wood, Idaho Education Association president. They will talk about how these budget reductions will effect the state’s students this fall and beyond.
